Its fine, just the bacteria was coming out, kind of like an infection but not as serious.

You want to know how to do it naturally yet discount the home remedies? Riiiiight.

Fact of the matter is, sometimes chemicals and medication is the best way…and the quickest. Proactiv works quite well (who knew an infomercial product ACTUALLY worked).

If you really don’t want chemical help, just keep your skin clean and avoid fatty foods and sugar. Eat healthy and drink lots of water. It’s a slow process but it’s the best way, unless you have a hormone imbalance…in which case, you should get medication!

well theres nothing you can really do but wait till they fade away which will take about 2 years

i put an ice pack over my acne scars
the ice helps to reduce the swelling

also you can use lemons they have alpha hydrozy acids (ANA) which exfoliates dead skin cells and its leaves the skin smooth and clear and makes the scars lighter.

I prefer natural products, because there are a lot of nasty chemicals in most products. Especially cheap ones. Mineral oil isn’t nasty, but it clogs pores and most lotions/creams have it. Natural oils absorb into the skin and moisturize a lot better. There are many to choose from, but the best is argan oil. I like www.rosemarieshop.com because they carry some unique products you don’t find easily, and they all have argan oil in them.

Also, check out http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/index.php to see what’s in the other creams and see how bad the ingredients are. It’s scary, but it’s empowering to know.

Simple is great.
Kind to skin- vital vitamin day cream.

It has 3 vital vitamins in.
It has 3 skin loving nutrients.
It has 0 perfumes and no colour.

Blackhead treatments?

i have blackheads on my nose and they drive me crazy!
i have never tried any kind of store-bought treatments, but im thinking about getting the biore strips…
supposedly the ultra type works better, but they’re more expensive..
also, it seems like st. ives apricot scrub works well for acne, but i havent read any reviews for getting rid of the blackheads..
please suggest any other good cheap blackhead treatments!

I’ve been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it’s at.

I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.

I’m 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.

Literally the best acne face wash I’ve ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. If Im on a strict skin care routine from my dermentologist, should i wash my face with the wash he has provided me with, then follow with my own clinique clarifying lotion? Or will it affect the acne treatment?

To get rid of them at home without having to buy anything, put a hot towel on your face for 2 minutes and gently push out the blackheads. DON’T push them too hard, you’ll get scars. If one of them doesn’t come out after 2 tries, move on to another one. If you have a lot, it might take up to an hour trying to get all of them out. It’s not good to push blackheads out, but it’s the easiest and fastest way :]

I agree with chloe. Right after having an hot shower, steam your face more and then squeeze em all out. Right after, put methelated spirit on to disinfect and keep doing that. But if the same blackheads have been there for 3 years then you might have problems trying to get them out. My auntie has had one on her lip for years and years and it has just grown humungous and absoloutely unremovable. Otherwise, just go to a skin clinic and they should sort you out.

Use a facial scrub that contains salicylic acid in it. It is supposed to remove dead skin and clean out pores. I have been using it for a year or two and have only had three major break-outs. Try it out!

Try not to use makeup because it adds to acne, even the ones claiming that they are light and are good for acne.

It’s possible your makeup is causing you to get product poisoning, that triggers more acne. If you’re using acne products, it’s also possible you’re doing more harm than good, and spreading them around.

Use plain soap, or use liquid bath & body wash treat your face like the rest of your skin, and be careful about frequently touching your hair, hands, to your face. Sometimes just the oil on your face from make up and lotions, even from your hair can travel to your face causing acne to come out. Others, from stress, hormones & diet or foods.

When they say less product is best, it really is. Avoid products containing benzoyl peroxide. Proactive’s main ingredient and they contains a known carcinogen, at a percentage known to promote skin cancer.

What is the best black head remedy?

I have a lot of tiny, little blackheads on my chin and face, and some in between my chest. They are so little that they cannot be popped or squeezed out. I have tried using blackhead strips on them, and it does not work. Can anyone else recommend anything else? What is the best gel/cream/wash for blackheads that actually work? Or do you know of any other remedy that is easy and actually does work?? Even home remedies would be appreciated..
